The buglog was one 27K-line JSON file whose fields covered only symptom,
root cause and fix, as free text: 2% of entries named the code version a
bug was found on, 12% the build profile, 36% a way to reproduce, and 58% of
the file was OpenWolf hook auto-detections ("Missing guard clause",
"Function not marked async" on .md files).
- .claude/skills/buglog/bug-record.md: the record standard. Eight
sections (Summary as the title, Description, Environment, Reproduction;
Root cause, Fix, Verification, References once fixed), each with the
content it must contain -- e.g. Environment needs the OS, the libc the
failing binary loads (from its ELF interpreter: glibc 2.42 in the nix
shell vs 2.40 on the host), toolchain, build profile and commit.
- .wolf/bugs/<id>.md: 500 records migrated from buglog.json; every field
verified to round-trip. They carry legacy: true and an explicit "not
recorded" where the old log had no such field; component derived from
file paths, severity from keywords (else unknown), fix_commits from
hashes in status_note/fix that git resolves (91 of 463 fixed).
- .wolf/buglog-archive.json: the 710 hook auto-detections, verbatim.
- .wolf/buglog.json is now an index generated from the records, keeping
the fields OpenWolf's hooks and `openwolf bug search` read.
- scripts/buglog.py rewritten: new (template + Environment collected from
the machine and --binary), check, status (refuses a status the record
doesn't support; fixed needs Root cause, Fix, Verification and
--commit hashes git resolves), note, recur, set, show, list, triage,
env, index. 29 unittest cases in scripts/tests/test_buglog.py.
- scripts/git-hooks/pre-commit runs `check --staged`: incomplete staged
records, a legacy record hand-changed to fixed without the fix-time
sections, a new record claiming legacy: true, or a stale index refuse
the commit.
- scripts/gitea-sync.py reads the records: issue body = the record's
sections plus linked fix commits (origin remote, GITEA_COMMIT_REPO to
override), and a body hash so an issue's text is refreshed when the
record changes.
- bug-1866 rewritten to the full standard as the worked example.

bug-1500: test_run_processes_multiple_sessions_in_order_and_no_longer_returns_enosys FAIL: Expected 5000 Was…
Description
test_run_processes_multiple_sessions_in_order_and_no_longer_returns_enosys FAIL: Expected 5000 Was 743938186628040 (a raw-looking CLOCK_MONOTONIC nanosecond value, not the fixture's own beginRound).
Environment
Not recorded (migrated from buglog.json).
Reproduction
Not recorded (migrated from buglog.json).
Root cause
The test's fixture-building helper called the real sched_record_start() THEN sched_record_stop() to produce a valid header+snapshot prefix (matching test_sim_startup.c's own write_valid_fixture() precedent), then re-opened the same path in append mode ('a') to hand-write additional ReplayEvent/ReplaySession messages after it. But sched_record_stop() (recording.c) unconditionally writes its OWN ReplayEvent{endSession} marker immediately after the snapshot as part of every completed recording (Req 5 AC 20) -- so the fixture already contained a premature end-of-stream marker BEFORE any of the test's own appended events/sessions. sched_sim_driver_run()'s event loop (sim_loop.c, task 11.2) correctly treats ReplayEvent{endSession} as the whole-stream termination signal and stopped reading right there, leaving sim->core's clock at its xce_sched_core_init() default (virtual_clock_base=0, speed_num=1, speed_den=1 -- AC 3's normal-mode row), so xce_core_now() returned an unfrozen, elapsed-wall-clock-driven value instead of the intended frozen 5000.
Fix
Changed the fixture helper to call ONLY sched_record_start() (never sched_record_stop()), and return the STILL-OPEN FILE* (sched.record_file) so the test appends its own hand-built events/sessions directly onto the same open stream, ending with its own append_end_of_stream_marker() call, then fclose()s it directly -- bypassing sched_record_stop()'s real event/session-recording API entirely for this hand-built-fixture use case.
